Executive director

Tiombe Bowman

CD, PCD(DONA), CLC

As a doula with over 15 years of experience, Tiombe Bowman, CD, PCD(DONA), CLC has helped bring over 200 babies into this world and has seen first-hand how the support of a doula improves the health and emotional outcomes of parents and family members.

​

In 2024, she was moved to found Unconditional Love Doula Services, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit in response to the racial and economic gap in the healthcare outcomes for individuals and families from lower-income and BIPOC backgrounds.

​

She is thrilled to be offering doula services to the communities across the five boroughs and into New Jersey.

Programs Director

LaShanda Dandrich

IBCLC

LaShanda Dandrich is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)  and the co-founder of Lactation Learning Collective.  After the birth of her daughter in 2009, her passion for breastfeeding and supporting mothers and families in the postpartum period blossomed.  She became a trained postpartum doula while pursuing her IBCLC credential.  In her decade-long career as an IBCLC she has supported families of all diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds throughout NYC through in-home lactation visits, as well as facilitating lactation support groups throughout several communities. Her passion for growing the lactation profession includes serving as mentor to many BIPOC individuals interested in the lactation profession. The Lactation Learning Collective was started as a way to offer more affordable access to mentoring opportunities for those on the pathway to becoming a credentialed IBCLC.  LaShanda also played and instrumental role in helping Chocolate Milk Cafe National attain non-profit status as one of the founding board members. She continues to serve the organization as Director of Trainings, developing curriculum and facilitating trainings to open chapters of Black Peer led support groups. LaShanda continues to lecture and speak on Black Maternal Health panels and bring awareness to the critical role human milk plays in the health of both baby and lactating parent.

Operations Director

Jacquelyn Walker

PCD(DONA)

Jacquelyn is a PCD(DONA) Certified Postpartum and Overnight Doula, Child and Newborn Care Specialist. She has 10+ years of experience as a nanny and doula supporting women and their families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Providing physical, emotional, and informational support became a passion of hers as she experienced firsthand the positive effects of having an empowering birth and supportive postpartum experience. “It takes a village,” is truly the motto that Jacquelyn lives by and it is the embodiment of how she cares to show up in the world for others. Today, as Operations Director for Unconditional Love Doula, her goal is to continue to serve families in easing their transition into parenthood, whether for the first time or otherwise, along with provide the proper resources and necessary personalized support. Jacquelyn strongly believes that we all deserve to be loved, supported, advocated for, seen, heard, and informed, especially in those most vulnerable, transformative moments of life.
